Koh Tang Island is one of 25 islands which can be long-term transferred by Cambodia and located at the side of the Gulf of Thailand, Cambodia, 50 Km away from the west of Sihanoukville. Now it was purchased by Monarch Investment Co. Ltd (Cambodia) which owned its right of 99-year use since Dec. 20 in 2010.
Koh Tang Island has a tropical monsoon climate. The estimated water resource is abundant. The annual rainfall is about 5000mm.
Moreover, there are six lakes and many wetlands. There are many small streams flow down the mountains. The resource of fresh water resources is abundant. The underground water level is about 2 meters, but the total reserves have yet to be surveyed. It's even more commendable that there are hot springs which has higher value in medical convalescence (not yet done water testing), development for SPA and health is the best choice.
Koh Tang Island is surrounded by colorful, clear and bright sea water. The visibility is twenty meters in sunshine day, which is an optimal condition for diving tourism.

Due to its far distance from mainland, Koh Tang Island keeps in a natural state without any development. The overall area of Koh Tang Island is 510 ha with various landforms, abundant resource and fresh water resource. Particularly for its characteristic of long and narrow (north-south 6200m), Koh Tang Island has a number of large and small beaches on east, south and north side. Because of its non-polluted blue water, the subtropical monsoon climate, mild summer and warm winter, it is a suitable tourist resort all year round.


To take full advantage of its favorable natural resource and potential economic value, Monarch Investment Co. Ltd (Cambodia) and China IPPR International Engineering Company has made the decision to cooperation and develop the Koh Tang Island in Cambodia jointly in China. The preparation of this project proposal is hereby.
Topography of island is diversity. The northeast, east, south are mainly beaches, and the total length is 9100m including about 5 430m of beach, further along the beach on the island, a small amount of flat land (slope 5% - 25%) , the general distance is within 100m, a small part over 300m; Except for a small flat, there are some slopes, plateaus (slope of 5% -25%), mainly located in the northwest, central and south-east part; Although the island is only 510 hectares, but it brings together a variety of landscape features which is a rare tourist resources.
